Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Oakwood United Methodist: 12th Annual Charley & Ted Dyer Spaghetti Dinner
"On Saturday, March 29th, we will be raising money to send our children and youth students to church camp with our 12th Annual Charley and Ted Dyer Spaghetti Supper! Join us from 5:00-7:30 p.m. for dinner of spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert! This is a free-will donation meal where all proceeds go to sending our students to camp! There will also be a silent auction with items from many fantastic businesses and individuals in our community."
