Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the time of the 2020 census, the population was 10,147 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Hickory Glen Park Grand Opening Ceremony
Join us for a celebration of the first major milestones at Hickory Glen Park. Phases I and II are complete which include Rick's Reservoir, Pleasant Hill Gate art sculpture, soccer fields, park pavillion, and roadway/infrastructure. This ceremony is hosted by the Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department.
