Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Even if you have already seen the movie SOUND OF FREEDOM, you will want to see it again and hear a testimony from a survivor of human trafficking.
There will also be officials from Safe At Home Administrator, State of Iowa. This event is for women, men and anyone in our community. Please make plans to attend and invite people you know to share in this important evening as well.
