Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Ladies' Self-Defense Class
We’re proud to partner with RHINO Tactical Defense for a FREE Ladies' Self-Defense Class on Tuesday, April 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Doanes Park Youth Center. Open to ages 13 and up, this class will teach essential self-defense techniques to boost confidence and personal safety.
